Sportime Physio-Roll Review
Sportime Physio-Roll Feature
Why use a Physio-Roll? Most therapists are familiar with the benefits of ball therapy, but are often unfamiliar and then amazed with the benefits of using a Physio-Roll. Like a therapy ball, the physio-roll provides an ideal medium for balance training, strengthening and proprioceptive activities. However, unlike a therapy ball, a Physio-Roll's "saddle-like" seat provides stability, comfort and confidence so clients of every age, and nearly every diagnosis may participate in ball therapy. Its unique shape allows a therapist to work on activities that might otherwise be somewhat risky on a traditional therapy ball.A multitude of uses can be explored with hands-on supervision, including: side-sitting, standing, supine, kneeling (all fours), straddling, prone and more. Some of the patient populations who will benefit from using a Physio-Roll include: geriatric, postpartum, orthopedic, neurological, pediatric and cardiovascular.Physio-Roll is also a great chair!Physio-roll may look like two balls glued together, but it's not. Each is rotationally molded in one seam-free piece. Inflation is required, and is done using a standard electric ball pump through a single valve.Sold individually. Other sizes are available.
